You can never be too set with what you have going on in your locker room, and that can be especially true at the quarterback position. The Dallas Cowboys learned firsthand last year just how valuable experience is behind Dak Prescott as Andy Dalton helped (being kind here) keep the ship afloat once he entered the fold.
As things currently stand, the Cowboys have Garrett Gilbert, Cooper Rush, and Ben DiNucci behind Prescott in the quarterback room. They were mildly connected to veteran Jeff Driskel a few weeks ago, but nothing ultimately materialized.
