When the Dallas Cowboys traded for Joe Milton earlier this year, some might have thought it was the wrong move for Jerry Jones. Yet, Milton is looking every bit of the perfect backup to Dak Prescott.
However, with Dak's injury history, the Cowboys are one play away from needing a much-more qualified third string quarterback. And now, the New York Giants may have given that to them as they decided to release veteran Tommy DeVito.
DeVito seemed a likely cut, all along, as the Giants had Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and rookie first-round pick Jaxson Dart in the fold as well.
