Left guard Connor Williams to have knee scope, Cowboys hopeful he’ll be back soon

The Dallas Cowboys have had some issues along the offensive line this season, so much so that they fired the position coach in Paul Alexander and promoted Marc Columbo to oversee the group. They now have their first big-time injury there this season (save for Travis Frederick obviously) as Connor Williams is going to have a knee scope and miss some time.

Jason Garrett confirms that Connor Williams is getting a knee scope, but the Cowboys are hopeful it’s a short-term injury.

The plan is to have a competition between Xavier Su’a-Filo and Adam Redmond for Williams’ LG spot #cowboyswire— David Helman (@HelmanDC) November 7, 2018

Connor Williams hasn’t exactly played well eight games into his rookie season, but this is far from ideal.
