Free agency officially kicks off in just under a month. At 4:00 pm EST on March 13 (notwithstanding the three-day legal tampering period prior to that), hundreds of free agents will be eager to sign new contracts, and needy teams will fall all over themselves trying to sign big-name free agents to big contracts.
