The Dallas Cowboys can ill-afford to lose their best players for any amount of time. Unfortunately for the Cowboys, they were dealt an injury scare very early on against the Chicago Bears on Sunday.
Already trailing 7-0 to the Bears, quarterback Dak Prescott handed the ball off to wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who was lined up in the backfield. Lamb ran towards the line of scrimmage and as he was tackled, the defender landed hard on his left ankle.
Lamb was removed from the game to get checked out by members of the Cowboys' medical staff.
