Joseph Randle exits practice early after aggravating strained oblique

OXNARD, Calif. — Joseph Randle suffered a setback during Thursday’s practice. The third-year running back, who has worked with the first-team throughout training camp, aggravated an oblique he strained a week ago.

“We’ll go in there and get some treatment and see how it’s feeling,” Randle said. “It’s the same thing I had earlier in camp. It flared up on me again.”

The Cowboys practiced in shells Thursday. Randle was participating during the early part of practice but headed to the locker room after a brief conversation with head coach Jason Garrett.

Randle said he is not frustrated by the setback.
