Meanwhile, it was questioned why Javonte Williams was given the veteran starter treatment. The Dallas Cowboys' $1.5 million investment at running back didn't dress for a single preseason game, which all but anointed him as the starter.
Well, it turns out the coaching staff knew what it was doing with Williams, and that making plays in training camp doesn't always mean a player will pan out in the regular season.
