It only took six seconds for one of the best defensive tackles in football to get ejected. Philadelphia Eagles starJalen Carter was tossed out for spitting at Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. Of course, that move was heavily criticized and Carter had every right to be thrown of the game.
After the 24–20 loss, Prescott defended himself by saying he aimed at the ground, unlike Carter, who fired directly at his jersey. Carter showed zero emotional control and got himself thrown out, putting his teammates in a tough spot defensively. After the game, he issued an apology to fans and players, but noticeably left out Prescott, the player he blatantly disrespected
