Dallas Cowboys training camp is officially underway in Oxnard. As hard as Jerry Jones tried to dampen the excitement in Monday's press conference, the team has hit the field for its first of 16 practices open to the media.
While Brian Schottenheimer has promised that camp will be physical, the initial practices will be on the lighter side. It will be difficult to gauge how players are performing until the pads come on, but new quarterback Joe Milton said to heck with that line of thinking.
On one of his first reps under center, Milton fired a 40-yard laser to Jalen Brooks on a play-action sequence.
