ARLINGTON — The Cowboys’ revamped defensive line has turned into quite the party.
In one series early in the Cowboys’ game against the Vikings, Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli used seven linemen: Randy Gregory, Greg Hardy, DeMarcus Lawrence, Jeremy Mincey, Nick Hayden, Tyrone Crawford, Jack Crawford and Terrell McClain.
Marinelli wants to use an eight-man rotation, which leaves plenty of combinations to choose from.
Does the number of possibilities get Mincey excited?
“Hell yeah,” Mincey said. “You can quote that. Hell yeah.”
It’s paid off for the Cowboys in the small sample size that is three preseason games.
