Taco Charlton was waived by the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday so any association that he had with the team is now completely over. Whatever the rest of his NFL future holds will be with another team.
Dallas had reportedly been working the phones to try and trade Taco before releasing him. The reason that the Cowboys were up against a wall was that they had to have defensive end Robert Quinn (who’s returning from suspension) on the active roster by 4 pm ET on Wednesday. That was the spot Charlton was occupying so when time ran out, time ran out.
