Gosselin: With his suspension, vindication comes for every NFL franchise that passed on Randy Gregory

Fifty-nine times NFL teams went on the clock in the 2015 draft last April and May with pass rusher Randy Gregory, a first-round talent, available on the board.

And those 59 times teams let Gregory slide. They didn't trust him. He was a character risk, having tested positive at the 2015 NFL scouting combine for marijuana. The most important part of ability is availability. If you draft him, could you count on Gregory to be there for you every game? Thirty-one franchises opted not to answer that question.

The Cowboys finally stepped up and claimed Gregory with the 28th choice of the second round and 60th overall pick of the draft.
