DeMarcus Ware spent the majority of his evening at The Star, charming the crowd in his role as host while helping raise money for the North Texas Food Bank.
He also made time to lobby for a job with his former team.
"I think it will be a great opportunity for me to come back here and coach the guys,'' Ware told reporters about his desire to return to the Cowboys Sunday evening. "I always say I want to teach the championship mentality. If I can come here at least two or three days a week, teaching them Wednesdays and Thursdays and teach the pass rushers how to pass rush, stopping the run.
