SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Cowboys returned to Oxnard late Sunday night with four days of practice/walkthroughs left on the West Coast, beginning Tuesday.
Jason Garrett intends to maximize every moment available.
The Cowboys’ head coach saw effort but simply not enough execution in the team’s sloppy 23-6 preseason loss to the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
“When you’re out there you have a responsibility to play at a certain level. Period,” Garrett said. “The standard that we set is high. We’re looking for guys who can play to that standard. We didn’t get enough of that tonight.
