Negligence at defensive tackle and cornerback notwithstanding, the Dallas Cowboys' front office brought in a lot of talent this offseason. They also parted ways with several long-tenured veterans in free agency, including Jourdan Lewis and DeMarcus Lawrence.
While Lewis' departure was met with vitriol, Lawrence was long expected to move on unless Dallas was able to reel him in on another team-friendly deal. That predictably did not happen, as Lawrence inked a deal with the Seahawks to reunite with former Dallas defensive line coach Aden Durde, who is now Seattle's defensive coordinator.
Cowboys fans will not be surprised to learn that Lawrence has been among the Seahawks' top players throughout training camp.
