IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys were not always pleased with the work of referee Carl Cheffers in their 13-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Maybe they will feel better about having Ed Hochuli working Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Since 2010, the Cowboys are 4-1 with Hochuli as the official but three of the wins came by a combined eight points. In those five games the Cowboys have been penalized 40 times for 362 yards while their opponents -- the Washington Redskins (twice), Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears -- were flagged 35 times for 325 yards.
