IRVING, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys no longer have the highest draft pick in the NFC East.
That belongs to the Philadelphia Eagles, who acquired the second overall pick in a trade with the Cleveland Browns on Wednesday.
Time to worry?
Maybe if Carson Wentz or Jared Goff, whichever quarterback the Los Angeles Rams don’t take, turns into a franchise quarterback in years to come.
The Eagles have now committed $22 million to Sam Bradford, $7 million to backup quarterback Chase Daniel and will pay more than $24 million guaranteed to their first-round pick.
That’s a lot of money to three quarterbacks.
