The Dallas Cowboys seemingly don't have a quarterback controversy anymore after Joe Milton's sturdy performance in the preseason finale. Finally playing calm and on time, Milton's right arm did the rest as he threw a pretty 29-yard touchdown and finished with a 97.5 passer rating.
Milton likely clinched the backup job with that showing, but it remains to be seen if the Cowboys want Will Grier back as the third-stringer. Grier is fine, but he hasn't necessarily done anything to set himself apart from other QBs that may be on the chopping block.
Look no further than former Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, who has all but lost the Dolphins' backup battle to former No.
