Does anyone really believe Jason Witten will play a lesser role in his return to the Cowboys?

FRISCO -- La'el Collins strolled through the Cowboys' locker room earlier this offseason, about to hit the showers, when the right tackle noticed a different, but familiar, presence. It took Collins a minute to register the figure, who sported a fresh bald look.

"Damn," it hit Collins, "that's Witt."

The team quickly re-absorbed Jason Witten, the 15-year veteran tight end who unretired in February, escaping the Monday Night Football broadcast booth to play another season at 37.

"Never skipped a beat," Collins said. "The camaraderie with the O-line, it's all the same. He's a guy we all want to grow up to be like.
