Despite mixed reviews during draft process, DT Trysten Hill 'clicked' for Rod Marinelli and Cowboys

FRISCO -- Trysten Hill met up with Cowboys defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli in a nondescript Orlando hotel lobby on a Monday in March. The dreadlocked draft prospect, 6-foot-3, 308 pounds, and the coaching veteran pulled two small chairs up to a table and started talking drills and techniques. Marinelli sounded out Hill about his readiness for his Central Florida pro day in the morning. It happened to be Hill's 21st birthday.

The conversation continued to deepen the defensive line guru's and Hill's relationship, which meant everything to how Hill ended up at The Star this weekend for rookie minicamp.
