Dallas Cowboys to re-sign Sean Lee to secure linebacker corps

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the youngest and most talented linebackers corps in the NFL. It features starters in Pro Bowlers Jaylon Smith and Leighton Vander Esch. Yet, there are lingering questions about both players heading into 2020. And a key veteran signing was needed to help secure the linebacker corps in Dallas.

On Tuesday, the Cowboys agreed to re-sign linebacker Sean Lee to a one-year, $4.5 million deal with $2 million fully guaranteed. That according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo. The 33-year old Lee started in 13 games last season, recording 86 total tackles, a sack, four pass deflections, and an interception.
