Dallas Cowboys: Jerry Jones hints at Kellen Moore as play caller

When the Dallas Cowboys parted ways with offensive coordinator Scott Linehan earlier this month, the team made a commitment to improving their offense in 2019. An offense that ranked 22nd in scoring last season, averaging only 21.2 points per game. And although fans would likely prefer the Cowboys look outside their current coaching staff to fill the position, all signs point to Dallas finding their next “OC” in-house.

Despite only being a quarterbacks coach for a single season, 29-year old Kellen Moore is the currently the favorite to be promoted to offensive coordinator. The former Boise State star spent six seasons in the NFL as a backup quarterback, three of them with Dallas.
