OXNARD, Calif. — The Dallas Cowboys will be back in California for at least part of training camp for the next two years once the club breaks camp next week.
The Cowboys have a three-year agreement with the City of Oxnard to hold their training camp practices in Southern California. The agreement may be extended for an additional three years upon mutual agreement by both parties.
This is the Cowboys’ fourth consecutive year in Oxnard and 10th overall since their first visit in 2001.
Cowboys officials say they want to spend part of their training camp practices in Frisco each year starting in 2016, when the club’s new team headquarters will be finished.
