For the Dallas Cowboys, this feels like a new situation for them this offseason. The Cowboys have a ton of salary cap space and don’t need to cut or restructure contracts.
The problem in Dallas is that they also have 31 free agents they could try to re-sign. So a lot of that money will be going into retaining their own players.
If owner Jerry Jones truly believes that the team he put on the field last season was a championship team, then he’s going to try and bring back most of those players.
