Dallas Cowboys defeat Giants with help from a black cat

The Dallas Cowboys face a divisional foe on Monday night, the New York Giants. Fresh off their bye week, the Cowboys needed to get a win over the Giants to maintain their lead in the NFC East.

But the Cowboys didn’t start the game the way they wanted to with quarterback Dak Prescott throwing an interception on the first play of the game to New York defensive back Antoine Bethea. That would lead to three points for the Giants after a Cowboys goal-line stand. The Cowboys would answer with a field goal of their own thanks to running back Ezekiel Elliott and tight end Jason Witten making plays for the Cowboys.
