OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey practiced in pads for the first time in training camp Tuesday and came away feeling good about his first contact.
Mincey missed the first three practices of camp holding out for a contract extension. He didn’t get the extension but received $500,000 more in pay in 2015 on Sunday, returning to the field for the first time. Mincey was in uniform for practice Sunday but not in pads.
On Tuesday – following the Cowboys’ first day off of camp – Mincey participated in team drills and did some one-on-one pass rush drills.
