Dallas Cowboys announce death of longtime team executive Gil Brandt at age of 91

Many people have contributed to the longstanding success of the Dallas Cowboys since they were originally founded, and on Thursday the team announced that one of them has passed away.

Longtime Dallas Cowboys executive Gil Brandt has died at the age of 91.

The Dallas Cowboys mourn the loss of former executive Gil Brandt who passed away at the age of 91 on Thursday morning.

Brandt served as the vice president of player personnel for the Cowboys from 1960 to 1988. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Brandt first broke into scouting working part-time for the Los Angeles Rams.
