Dallas Cowboys: 3 thoughts on 2020 free agency so far

The Dallas Cowboys weren’t really thinking about spending a first-rounder on a wide receiver, right? Thankfully, the Cowboys locked up Amari Cooper with a five-year extension. Cooper gets a contract worth $100 million, but most importantly, the number one receiver spot is locked up.

The Cowboys can now turn their attention to other areas. Recently, I’ve seen mock drafts where Big D actually nabbed a receiver with the 17th overall pick. I must confess: The thought made me gasp.

No way the Cowboys drown in a mess where they traded a first-round pick for Cooper only to see him walk.
