Dak Prescott on his plans for national anthem: 'I never protest during the anthem and I don't think that's the time or the venue to do so'

OXNARD, Calif. -- Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott made it clear Friday: He will continue to stand for the national anthem and won't take part in any protests when it involves an NFL game.

A day after executive vice president Stephen Jones said that if a Cowboys player decides to protest during the national anthem he couldn't play for the team, Prescott said that doesn't affect him.

"It has no affect to me because I do exactly what I'm doing and what I've said and what I stand by whether I was wearing the star or not or whether I was playing for Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones or any other owner," Prescott said.
