It was not a great way to spend Christmas Eve. The Dallas Cowboys put up a much better fight against the Miami Dolphins than they had against the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills, but they were still unable to figure out how to win against a good team on the road. That was it for the entire game. No interceptions, and just one lost fumble by the Cowboys. It came early and there were plenty of opportunities for Dallas to overcome it, but it would wind up being huge.
