Todd Archer of ESPN reports that the Cowboys brought in free agent WR Javontee Herndon for a workout this week.
Dallas also worked out WRs Corey Washington and Marvin Bracy this week, but have yet to sign anyone to a contract.
Herndon, 24, signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster, but later ended up on their practice squad last year.
Herndon returned to the Chargers on a future/reserve contract in 2015 and spent most of the year on their practice squad before he was eventually called up in November.
