After arriving in Oxnard, CA, on Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys took the field for their first practice of training camp on Tuesday. Though we have a strong idea of those who will make the team, such as established veterans, high draft picks, and the like, the bottom of the roster is anyone’s guess. New head coach Brian Schottenheimer has been with the team since 2023; his observation of the roster is starkly different from what it was as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Furthermore, the Cowboys have made it a habit of finding diamonds in the rough under the sunny skies of California, and countless undrafted players have shone to find a spot on the roster coming out of training camp.
