It’s only a couple of short weeks before the Dallas Cowboys head out to Oxnard, California to begin training camp for the 2025 NFL season. The Cowboys will bring along George Pickens, the wide receiver from the Pittsburgh Steelers that the team acquired in a trade that was essentially for a third-round pick.
Pickens comes to Dallas on the final year of his rookie contract. When the trade was made and in the weeks after, it became obvious that the team was going to wait on any kind of discussion around a new contract until after the 2025 season.
