While he’s chipped on offense occasionally, KaVontae Turpin’s primary role in Dallas so far has been as a return specialist. Despite making the Pro Bowl for return work in 2022 and solid production overall, Turpin has yet to score a touchdown on either kickoffs or punts. It’s the next step for him to cement his place among the game’s elite return men and would be a huge help to the Cowboys in 2024.
Turpin parlayed a highly successful run in the short-lived USFL, being named MVP in their 2022 spring season, into an invite to Dallas’ training camp that summer.
