Cowboys signing veteran running back Alfred Morris amidst Ezekiel Elliott’s holdout

The Dallas Cowboys kicked off its 2019 training camp in Oxnard, California this past weekend, but it was without key member and star running back Ezekiel Elliott. Elliott made the decision to holdout from training camp as he wants a new deal with two years left remaining on his rookie contract.

As Dallas installs new wrinkles into its offense with Kellen Moore in charge, the team went out and inked a familiar face: veteran Alfred Morris. Ian Rapoport broke the news over Twitter:

Reunion: Free agent RB Alfred Morris has agreed to terms with the #Cowboys, per his agents the Katz Bros.
