OXNARD, Calif. — Although Randy Gregory is a rookie, he can still teach the veterans a thing or two.
While doing an individual pass-rushing drill on Sunday, Rod Marinelli was especially pleased with how the second-round pick used his hands. The Cowboys defensive coordinator liked it so much that he had Gregory do the drill a second time for the entire position group to watch.
“It was just a hands drill, hand speed, hand quickness, hand strength, things like that,” Gregory explained. “The coaches do a good job putting those hand shields on there, and they punch you as hard as they can so you really got to be quick with getting them off of you.
