Cowboys QB Zac Dysert Likely Out For Year After Surgery For Herniated Disc

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Cowboys backup QB Zac Dysert is expected to miss the entire 2017 season after undergoing surgery to repair a herniated disc.

Dysert was the team’s No. 3 quarterback behind Dak Prescott and Kellen Moore, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them work out a few players in the coming days to fill out their roster at the position.

You can expect the Cowboys to place Dysert on injured reserve at some point in the near future.

Dysert, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013.
