If you take out the handling of Micah Parsons' contract, the Dallas Cowboys have had a very successful offseason. Between trading for George Pickens, Joe Milton and Kaiir Elam, bringing back Dante Fowler in free agency and having a strong draft, it was an active offseason in Dallas.
In keeping up with their reputation, though, the Cowboys’ front office made a few head-scratchers. Parsons contract is one thing, but trading for Kenneth Murray and letting Jourdan Lewis walk both raise fair questions.
The signing of wide receiver Parris Campbell was another questionable move. It had a small chance of working out, and it is officially over after Dallas released Campbell with an injury settlement.
