With the recent news that Daron Bland will now miss “multiple” weeks with an ankle sprain, the Cowboys will lean more on their offense to help them win games. That was already going to be the case in the post-Micah Parsons era, but the Cowboys will need to lean into that philosophy even more over the next month.
That means the Cowboys will need to get more out of the tight position in Week 2 and moving forward. They’ve invested a bunch of resources into the position (Jake Ferguson extension, Luke Schoonmaker draft selection, etc.), and they simply didn’t get enough from the unit against the Eagles.
