Jonathan Cooper resurrected his career with the Cowboys this past season.
Now it's time to move on.
San Francisco announced on its website Tuesday afternoon that it had reached a one-year agreement with the offensive lineman, declaring "Welcome to the family." He becomes the fifth player on the Cowboys roster in 2017 to sign with another team this offseason.
Cooper began the season on the bench but moved into the starting lineup at left guard in Week 4 in place of an injured Chaz Green. He stayed there for the remainder of the season, starting the final 13 games.
