It's been over a month since Trevon Diggs suffered a concussion inside his own home and subsequently landed on injured reserve due to an apparent knee injury.
It's not like Diggs was making much of a difference anyway. In fact, he's played pretty poorly this season. Opposing quarterbacks have a 154.9 passer rating when targeting Diggs. That's almost a perfect passer rating for a quarterback. It's not like the other corners have been that much better, but Diggs is getting paid to bring (a lot) more to the table.
In light of Diggs' struggles and injury, Cowboys insider and film analyst Bryan Broaddus floated a wild idea to get the most out of the former All-Pro: playing him at safety.
