The Cowboys have had their sights set on Kony Ealy for four years.
Now, they finally get a first-hand look to determine if their personnel assessment is correct.
Ealy is the sixth player the Cowboys have added in this phase of free agency. He signed his contract Monday, a one-year deal with a base salary of $800,000 that could yield up to $2 million if the defensive end hits all of his incentives.
"We're excited about Kony," head coach Jason Garrett said. "We spent a lot of time on him coming out in the draft. We visited him a lot, we worked him out.
