FRISCO -- Cowboys great DeMarcus Ware is spending parts of his retirement coaching up the defensive lines of his former teams in Dallas and Denver.
The nine-time Pro Bowler is also busy coaching his son's youth league football team. The sons of former Cowboys receivers Dez Bryant and Patrick Crayton play on the same teams. Ware, who spoke from The Star after Wednesday's organized team activities, said Bryant's spirits are up even though he has yet to sign with a new team since his release in April.
"I talked to Dez last week, and I don't know why he hasn't gotten a job," Ware said.
