Like every other team in the NFL did on Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys finalized their initial 53-man roster, and it's undoubtedly safe to say that not every fan of America's Team is pleased that it included defensive tackle Mazi Smith.
Since the Cowboys took Smith in the opening round of the 2023 draft with the No. 26 overall selection, there's no getting around the fact that he's been a monumental disappointment. Throw in a less-than-stellar preseason this year, and it's easy to see why so many pundits and fans alike considered Smith to be a prime cut candidate come Tuesday.
