IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will see referee Ron Torbert for the first time in a regular-season game when they take on the Carolina Panthers on Thanksgiving.
He is in his second year as a referee. His crew worked the Cowboys’ preseason finale in 2014 against the Denver Broncos and called 10 penalties for 80 yards against the Cowboys.
Torbert’s crew was off last week but had a busy Week 10 when it worked the Cleveland Browns' game at the Pittsburgh Steelers. They called 24 penalties with 17 accepted.
