Cowboys free agent news: Cowboys complete one-year deal with Dontari Poe

It took a little longer than anticipated, but the Cowboys finally completed their deal for defensive tackle Dontari Poe. It was last Wednesday when Ian Rapoprt tweeted that the deal was done in basic terms and that there were only some details to work out.

It took a few says, but the Cowboys and Poe came to an agreement on a one-year deal.

Archer notes that Poe will still have to take a physical but for now a contract is done. We don’t know how much the deal is for, but they didn’t sign him to a longer-term deal like they did with his teammate Gerald McCoy.
