ARLINGTON — With Tom Brady’s suspension being lifted, media attention immediately turned to the next possible showdown: Greg Hardy vs. the NFL.
The possibility for Hardy to appeal his four-game suspension has existed for weeks. A source told David Moore earlier on Thursday that there had been no meeting between Hardy’s representatives and the NFLPA since the Brady ruling. A personal matter might have played a part in that.
Hardy missed the Cowboys’ preseason win over the Texans to attend the birth of his child.
Cowboys defensive end Jeremy Mincey said he hadn’t talked to Hardy since the ruling came down, but planned to call him after the Cowboys’ game on Thursday night to check in.
