Cowboys coach Jason Garrett says players who raised fists did so after the national anthem, won't face discipline

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday that defensive ends Damontre Moore and David Irving are in no risk of being disciplined for raising their fists at the conclusion of the the national anthem before Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers.

"Absolutely not," Garrett said during his regular news conference at The Star.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said following the game, in his strongest comments yet, that any players who disrespected the national anthem or flag would not play for the Cowboys. He was apparently unaware that Moore and Irving had raised their fists at the time.
