After securing the NFC East crown and a playoff berth following last weekend’s victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Dallas Cowboys head into what is essentially a meaningless matchup against the New York Giants in Week 17.
The biggest debate about this contest revolves around whether the Cowboys should take this opportunity to rest many of their starters in preparation for the postseason. The coaching staff will have to balance the risk of injury against the risk of rust.
Regardless if some of the starters sit out or not, the Cowboys simply don’t have enough players on their active roster to sit every starter.
