The Dallas Cowboys announced a flurry of transactions Wednesday, headlined by the signing of defensive end Lawrence Okoye, a former British record-holding discus thrower.

Okoye signed with the 49ers as a rookie free agent in 2013 and has since spent time on the Cardinals' and Jets' practice squads. He competed in the 2012 London Olympics.
